I bought the DVD wanting to hear the full version of the songs that were listed on the jacket. Instead these songs were cut short. I had my heart set on number 4 and 5 “Chocolate Girl” and “I only meant to wet my feet”, and was disappointed. Maybe one of their other DVDs might be a better choice.

I recently purchased this video for my live video concert collection and the beauty of it was I was there when they filmed this video. The Whispers always put on a great show but during this concert, they went way back and sang some of their older jams like Chocolate girl, Olivia and then hit the new album also…that song BUTTA is vintage Whispers like nobody else can do it. They also inserted some small clips of them talking about their history and song selections which I found interesting. The concert was great, the audience was pumped up and captured all here in the video, filming was done very well and professionally. I highly recommend this video if you are a Whispers fan. Enjoy!!

I’ve seen The Whispers many times, live in concert, and they’ve never disappointed me-ever. They’re always well prepared, sound great, look even better(well dressed), the band is exceptional as always. This DVD Concert is no exception. It’s just a great concert. They’re steepin’ all over the place. And the singing, wow!!! My one disappointment is, they only did one song from their last cd, entitled “For Your Ears Only ” and that song was “Butta” . However, they put a hurt on that song. I highly recommend this DVD. It’s worth 10 stars. By the way, their latest cd,
” For Your Ears Only ” is exceptional. It’s as good as anything they’ve ever done.

The sound and image quality of the DVD is excellent!
The Whispers are still one of my all-time favorite R&B groups,
but the song selections on the DVD could have been better.
They perform all of “In the Mood” and “Rock Steady”, but
my other favorites were abbreviated and buried in medleys…
